I have been interested in Photography for over 30yrs. I started by buying a Pentax Spotmatic for my daughter's wedding. Then moved on to slides using them to show A.V.
I moved through learning, many techniques in the traditional Darkroom - Toning, Lith, infrared, hand tinting etc. (Lots to learn). My favourite was printing Moody Monochrome.
I have now moved on to Digital and find the time working on the computer very interesting although this also is a steep learning curve. I am an active member of the Durham Photography Society, which keeps me in touch with people with similar interests.
From time to time showing my work to other Societies, brings back the memories.
